Marina Thermal Energy/Electric Distribution Plant - Atlantic City, NJ

(Project Budget $40,000,000) Mechanical and electrical engineering for a staged 18,000 ton, 300 MM MBH plant, to supply all the heating, cooling, and hot water for major casino resorts in Atlantic City area.  The project also requires 10 MW of emergency diesel generators and 20 MW of gas turbine/cogeneration.

CEG was responsible for engineering and design of all process-related mechanical systems (hot water, chilled water, cooling tower water, and controls) in the plant.  CEG also prepared the detailed electrical design for the project, including the 12.47 kV outdoor substation, 12.47 kV - 69 kV transformers, 69 kV termination structures, protective relaying (including 69 kV transformer protection), and metering and SCADA interface with Conectiv.
